1 To promote the use of Service Firearms as a legitimate sport in its
own right
2 To maintain the Australian tradition of excellence in marksmanship
with current as well as past Service Firearms
3 To foster and maintain relationships with Defense Forces in marksmanship competition
4 To promote and maintain a strong presence in State, National & International Competition
5 To lobby Government & promote the legitimacy of the Service Firearms Discipline
6 To lobby for the removal of restrictions against the rules, equipment
and movements of legitimate , responsible Service Firearms sportsmen
7 To provide a discipline coordinating body for Service Firearms
8 To formulate rules pertaining to equipment & practices affecting
the Service Firearms discipline
9 To represent the Service Firearms discipline on State and National Sports Shooting Associations
10 To cooperate with other major shooting associations who have similar
aims and objectives, particularly N.R.A.A. & S.S.A.A.
11 To provide professional and nationally Accredited Training expertise and facilities
12 To lobby for the extension of existing ranges and the provision of
more shooting facilities & ranges
